Pain in side...?

hi girls,

Just wanted a bit of advise/reassurance maybe??

I am nearly 5 wks pg, and I have been having lots of pain where I would imagine my ovaries to be. It happens on both sides, but it is particularly bad tonight on one side. I have sufferd MC before, and my OH's sister had an eptopic last month, so I dont know whether I am being over cautious and losing it a little bit, or it is actually ok, and there are other people having the same?

Please, any help would be greatly apreciated x

I had the same thing from 5 to 8 weeks. At 5 weeks I also panicked and thought eptopic - I was lucky enough to be given a scan and everything was fine. I was told it was ligament stretching pains. I still get them from time to time now. I guess its just the body adapting to the big changes.

Definitely ask your GP about it if it gets worse or if you have shoulder pain or bleeding though.

hi hun, i had this last week. i panicked due to mc in july and went to mw who made a scan appointment, everything was fine and they suggested that it was probably just growing pains. go see mw if your worried or take yourself into a&e x

Sounds like stretching pains to me but if you are concerned, do call your doctor.
