Browning discharge

Hi,

Would love for someone to help me.

3 months ago I had some minor brown discharge and they said everything was fine. When I got to my 12 week scan there was nothing there. They think it might have died about 7 wks and my body absourd it.

Now I am pregnant again....and from 5 wks I have had brown discharge...I am now coming up to 7 weeks and I am still getting it. I have had 2 scans and the baby is there and last week we were told it had a heart beat and it was only 6 wks old....although they are telling me not too worry I am panicking...how can they be sure that its not going to happen again.

I even had a clot and they said that was normal...as long as it not red blood or clots....I am still having the brown discharge...sometimes its heavier then other times. I have another scan on wednesday next week...but I am still worried.

Can anyone help?

x

You just have it to trust that it is in God's hands, whoever God is to you.
You have to have faith that everything will turn out okay.

There's so many different things that can cause browny discharge, and one of the most common is the formation of the mucus plug. My SIL never even knew she was pg until 14 weeks, as she kept bleeding as normal.

It's easier said than done, but try not to worry too much and enjoy this time. Once a heartbeat has been detected, they do say the risk factor drops considerably.

Hi hun,
I had spotting at 5 weeks and thought the worst right away.
I had my first DS 12 years ago and breezed through it.
When I fell pregnant again I miscarried at 10 weeks, followed by eptopic and lost tube 6 months later.

I thought it would never happen,9 months after that I fell pregnant with DS #2 and spotted with him also.

DR told me once they find a heartbeat the chance of miscarriage goes right right down.

Big Hugs xxx

I'm with you. I've had very light brown spotting the last couple of days. Of course, very natural to start panicking. I've been all upset thinking the worst.

The more people I speak to about it say it's very normal in first tri, and not to worry if it's brown.

I think it's easing off a bit now, well I hope anyway.

Worse thing I did was start Googling to find out what it was - don't do it! You'll just scare yourself and stress yourself out.

Just put your feet up and take it nice and easy.

Ive had brown discharge since i found out and a light AF last weekend, nothing like normal Af though which is what inspired me to test. Hopefully the brown discharge is ok, its lessening but definatey still there. Pg tests are getting darker though which is inspiring me!
