Flu Shot?

Hello! I have read SO much conflicting evidence on this but all in all I am pretty nervous about getting the flu shot. I am thinking I am going to pass on it... What do you all think about this? Have you heard all the good and bad about it?

That's interesting. Over here, in America, I think that the general consensus is that you should get one because the "Flu" is so dangerous for pregnant women... But I have read alot of evidence that points out the opposite (that there are dangers for the unborn child, etc), which is why I am thinking about not getting one. It seems to be a political thing to some degree, honestly... it seems pointless to even get one.

when I was pg with my son I got the flu shot in the first tri. I'm probably going to get it this time as well. I've actually never heard that you shouldn't.

My mother's a nurse and not only did she tell me TO get it, but so did my OB/GYN. Mine is scheduled for tomorrow. Hope this helps.

Info

Hi everyone... this is the info that made me worried...

This is a quote from a comment left on babycenter.com:

" People please be smart enough to protect your unborn children. Here is an artical about what is in the vaccine. http://www.whale.to/a/ten1.html Here is a list of articles of Complications resulting from the vaccine: http://www.whale.to/vaccines/flu2.html Here is a whole list of articles so you understand that all the hype about getting it, isn't for the benefit of you and your child it's to make more money for the pharmasutical company's. http://www.nccn.net/~wwithin/flu.htm In addition if you don't believe any of what I have posted please take a look at the Vaccine damage cause this year alone by the flu vaccine, which by the way in the US will only be sold with the Mercury in it thanks to the FDA. Read the labels. Read the side effects, please for the sake of your child educate your selves. Here is the Vaccine Ingery database, please note they break it down by age group to make the actual number of damaged smaller. http://wonder.cdc.gov/controller/datarequest/D8 "

http://www.babycenter.com/404_should...egnant_2488.bc

I started looking up all this information and it really made sense to me. I am not a conspiracy theorist by any means, lol, but it makes sense to me that there is misinformation in the US to encourage the sale of this vaccine... Please check it out if you have time and let me know what you think.

OH... I am allergic to egg yolks so I am thinking no anyway, just for that!
