Folic acid

I stopped taking my folic acid this week, was told its only for first 12 weeks!
Is that right or should i keep taking them!

As far as I know thats right, Thats what the Midwife and Doctor told me, also says on the pack. X

Folic acid must be taken for the first 12 weeks of pregnancy, after 12 weeks the spine is complete so folic acid isnt needed, but some girls choose to carry on taking it throughout the whole of their pregnancy x

Mine have been making me sick - its a combined vit + floic acid tho. Have tried a new type and it still makes me puke after about 30 mins

. Urgh

im taking pre natal vits which u can use all through preg and bf xxxx

folic acid is very good for women and something even when you are not pregnant you should have. I have been taking folic acid for years.

I have taken prenatal vits throughout all 3 of my pregnancy and plan to with this one too. Plus I love how it makes my hair grow so fast.
