Dry eye remedies???

Hi everyone!

My eyes are drying out. Contacts - ouch! by the end of the work day.
Since it doesn't look like Visine is recommended, do you have any natural remedies???

Can't you use the rewetting drops?

If you need to moisten them, 0.9% saline (available from pharmacies, basically salt water) can be safely put into eyes with an eye bath . I would normally use a solution called hypromellose for dry eyes - nothing to say don't use it in pregnancy in the drug books but then again, no real info describing it's use in pregnant women.

Alternating contacts with glasses? Wearing contacts for shorter periods?

I have dry eyes and use refreshing drops every morning, it never even occurred to me that I shouldn't be using them. I might go home and have a look at the leaflet tonight but there's no way I can get out of bed in the mornings without my drops!

I thought contact wearing during pregnancy should be avoided?? or have i got that wrong lol
