early scan

hello all, whats the earliest u have a early scan is it 5 weeks also, would you beable to hear a heartbeat etc, or is that after 6 weeks?

I had a scan today at 6+6, and could see the heart beating away

Not sure how early you can see it though.

Yeah, I asked for more than one pic, but she said 'no, its not good quality, you can get one the next time.'

I had a scan with my last daughter at 6.5 or 6.3 weeks and all we saw was a yolk sac. they thought my dates were wrong but they werent wrong. I had a scan this time around at 7.6 weeks and the baby meassured at 6.5 weeks with a heart beat. It all depends on the baby. you may or may not see the heart beat. If not then don't worry it is still early. I know someone on here that saw the hb as early as 5.5 weeks I think.
