Just wondering when and how early you had your early assessment scans? When would you recommend one if going private I was thinking 8 weeks...

I was 8 weeks , Saw heartbeat .. Little arm buds leg buds . A head and little face shape .Was a very cute blob . xx . Goodluck .

I was 5+5 so put 6 weeks. That's only due to my history though, just making sure it wasn't another ectopic. I know if I hadn't had that history they would have given me 8 weeks due to previous mcs, my next scan is 8 weeks. Can't wait!

I had a private scan at 8 weeks. I chose then for a couple of reasons. 1) - As it was past the point where LO stopped growing in previous pregnancy and 2) - There was a definate chance of seeing a HB then.
It was really cool you could make out a rough head and body shape and you could see the arm and leg buds starting to grow and of course the all importnat heart beat.

i had my first at 5 weeks due to prev probs but al it showed was a sac

at 6 weeks its was a bob with a hb!

at 9 weeks it was much better!

and finally at 12 weeks it was amazing!!!

i would go with 8/9 weeks as u sud def see hb etc by then xx
