Killer Headache

I am home all alone (as DH is away on a work thing till Sunday) and I have the worst headache ever, my neck is killing as well, and I have had a rough day in general. I left work at noon b/c I was feeling ill and dizzy. Not sure if that is morning sickness setteling in already or if it is just me being sick (DH was sick all week with a cold and I think I have caught it). Anyhoo, my point is..... What can I do for this headache???!!!!????? I have read that paracetamol is safe while pregnant but it is so early still, I don't think I want to chance it. Any suggestions????

My midwife always says if you can resist taking medicine then try.

Hmmm have you tried a nice sleep?
maybe some tiger balm likes vix vapour rub...they can sometimes relieve tension?

You can also buy this stuff called 4head? don't know if you heard of these things.

but i think you need sleep...it's always the best.

hope it eases off i know how u feel i used to suffer severe migraines

paracetamol is fine, i had lots of headaches and migraines with this pregnancy and with Ewan.
Ewan is now a healthy 3 yr old so i wouldnt worry.
Lavendar or a heat rub on your neck can some times help.

Thanks you guys, just feels better knowing there is someone her I can ask about this sorta thing. I probably do just need to sleep, I had a call from our landlord today saying she was going to show the flat tonight so I spent the whole afternoon/evening cleaning and didn't get a chance to eat until just now. Just probably over did it.

Thanks again!!

I have suffered from migraines all of my life. A heating pad has always helped me. However, cold helps others. Find out if the heat or cold makes it better. Lay down in a dark room with either hot or cold compresses. Deep breathing techniques help to ease the tension as well. Just try to relax and remain calm. I had these headaches with my DS. When I was in my 2nd trimester the DR finally subscribed me Tylenol 3. If the headache continues or gets worse contact your DR immediately or get to the ER.
