my own hearbeat


does anyone else feel like there heart is beating so much stronger then before? i had the phone resting on by belly last night and i could see it moving with my pulse then i held my breath. is this normal?

i think you are just more more "aware" of your own body when your pg. !

yes mine does, mine was really strong and fast last night, but think that was nerves about the scan today.

yes and we are more prone to palpitations now we are preggers also. I have a heart condition (basically palpitations thats controlled by meds) and had no probs when i was preggers with my son but its going mad now so im waiting to see the cardio doc

When your pg the volume of your blood increases so its prob your heart jsut pumping the extra blood around.

Yeah - you have increased bloodflow now that you are pregnant so your pulse will become more noticeable xx
