| 12 week scan. just a quick question, does anyone know how long this usually takes, hoping all is well and goes ok? just need to arrange time off with work as they only let me have an hour for appointments.
thanks

| I had mine last week. It lasted about 30 minutes she really took her time showing me the baby and then did the nucal test. Your employer has to allow you resonable time off for scans (assuming they know your pregnant) including travel to and from. | | | | Status: Offline

| Mine was about 15 mins but they were 20 mins late taking me in. they had to go to community midwife after so all in all about an hour or so i was in the hospital. Like happy have said they cant put a limit on it. they have to give you enought time off to get there etc and if it runs over etc XxX | | | | Status: Offline

| thanks for your replies. work allow an hour for appointments if i have a dinner and 2 hours if i take my dinner and appointment together. but as for pregnancy they will more than likely allow longer. | | | | Status: Offline

| You get paid time off for all antenatal appointments. I'm not aware there is ANY time length. It's different to normal appointments hun | | | | Status: Offline
