I'm Currently Feeling:  | i saw my doc to tell him i was pregnant at 3 weeks, he gave me a form to fill out and said he'd pass ito n the midwife, who called me 2 days later and made an apointment for my booking in the next morning, altho she phoned to cancel later coz she had to cover another midwife! |

I'm Currently Feeling:  | Hearing all this is strange to me. I am not even sure we have those here unless you choose to have one. I always thought they were an option and you can have a home birth etc. All I did was call my Obgyn private office and got her to see me. She keeps up with my pregnancy from the 1st time I get a positive till the time she delivers me. I see her monthly from like pregnancy week 5-6 till I see her weekly nearing the end of my pregnancy. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling:  | I saw my GP on Friday (5 weeks pregnant) who gave me the midwife contact details. It turns out that I contact them for a booking in appointment. Not sure when I will actually get to meet with midwife though.

I'm Currently Feeling:  | My booking in was 8 weeks - I just called the docs and didn't need to see my GP. I then had my scan where I was put back to 10+4 last Monday then the midwife came to my house yesterday to fill in the rest of my forms.
I have to go back tomorrow morning to get my bloods done as I wimped on them at 8 weeks and my vein collapsed!!!
The MW yesterday said to book in a GP appointment for a couple of weeks time, then to book my next MW appointment for about 17 weeks I think. |

I'm Currently Feeling:  | I saw my doctor last monday and he passed my contact details on to midwife and she contacted me wednesday and i have my first appointment with her tomorrow for booking-in and bloods and then i have my first scan on wednesday |

I'm Currently Feeling:  | I have seen my GP twice and had him give me the u/s form. I have been waiting just to get an appt with the OB and keep getting told it could be until after 20 weeks. It is so different everywhere. Good Luck!! |
