When are you telling people?

I am very ickle pregnant and have told OH (obviously) and my mum and dad.

During my last pregnancy (which resulted in mc), I told my sisters, work and one aunt.

Would you tell work so early on? OH says not to tell anyone but I am thinking, what if ms kicks in, I will obviously be seeing the mw in the next month/s or so + be scanned so will need time off and dont want to lie.

Any thoughts would be great xxx

We told close family at about 7-8 weeks when we had got used to the idea!!! Then I told work at 9 weeks and the world knew after our scan!!! I told my boss at work cos when I get hungry I feel sick and so she knew to give me decent break times for lunch!

My work already knew about our fertility treatments so it wasnt a problem telling them when it worked.

I told my boss as I get on really well with her and she is so pleased for me, but not for the company!! Told a girl in my office but others dont know. Will tell them after 12 week scan Friday. Its up to you if you need their support and how well you get on with them I think?? x Best wishes

my dh, my two sisters and my boss know.
we are off on holidays in two weeks time and will have our 12 scan when we get back so will tell everyone then
i can't wait to tell my mum - i would love to tell her now but i know she will be too excited to keep it to her self

I told close family and friends straight away then my boss last Wednesday at about 11 weeks. I didn't want to tell work until after the scan but my sickness was getting really bad.

After the scan tomorrow I'm going to shout it from the rooftops!!!

I told my best friend and sister-in-law straight away, waited a couple of weeks before I told my parents (my mom was still skeptical of the HPT - thought it might be a false positive!) I told everyone else after I had my scan, saw my little bean and heard the heartbeat last week!

Ive only told OH so far and were telling my parents after ive had my 6 week scan and im not working but i am at college and im not telling them until about 15 weeks

I have not told anyone other then OH. Not even my family. We are waiting for the 12 week scan then telling.

I am a big mouth

I can't keep it in. Once that stick turns + I am screaming it out to the world. This time around though we didn't tell hubbies side until after the ultrasound. Now they are all happy
