Fun Ways to tell parents and inlaws about pregnancy?! How did you do it?

I was thinking of doing a post like this

Heres my latest thought
After my 12 week scan make a card (going to moonpig.com) its a new baby card but you can change all the writing so instead of reading new baby it will read HI Gran and Grandad...(inside) Cant wait to see you in May
I cant wait to see their faces and they will also have something to show everyone as well (i know what they are like)

great ideas, with my first child my OH told his parents that the doctors had found out what was wrong with me (I was very bad with ms) and that it was a parasite - one that they could no longer remove but it's ok we would all grow to love it and name it and even take it places with us....... (if anyone watches House M.D you get where this is coming from)

At the time I didn't see the funny side but looking back it was pretty hilarious as parents were completely bemused until eventually it clicked.

My Dad & Step-mum live so far away from us that we couldn't tell them in person, but didn't want to do it on the phone....

So we got two keyrings that said 'I luv Grandad' & 'I luv Grandma' and posted them to them.....a few days later we got a phone call & they were both in tears 'cos they were so happy!!

My OH made up a dvd and put an announcement at the end of it. Unfortunatley it didnt work so we just told them. They didnt beleive us either

I'm sorry to say thaty neither have parents to speak of but if I did have I would love to use the moonpig idea or even the "parasite"

my plan is to make keyrings with nana, grandad, aunty xxx etc on and give them to them in a little organza bags and maybe make little cards with a pic of the digital pg stick which say preg on and inside write SURPRISE lol
