i want to start work, asap
but im gonna find it hard to apply for a job, take it and not tell them im preg then wait a few months then tell them, id rather be upfront and honest, but worrid no-one will want to employ me!

what would you do ? my oh is at college and getting a part time job.

id just be honest hun because they could want u to do a job that you can do when pregnant eg carry something heavy, i found it really hard getting a job while pregnant so im just gonna wait x

I know the feeling!! I am supposed to be going back to college in 3 days and I feel like its pointless. I'll only be able to do this one semester! But I'm not sure if I should just look for a job or what...are people going to want to hire me even tho I'm 12 weeks pregnant?!?

yeah exactly, i was meant to be starting college on monday, but decided not to go because my course is 2 years long and io dont think it can be split so i decided to just go with it after the baby is born, but its gonna be so hard to get a job

You can still look about. youd be a good candidate for temp jobs since youd be off work near end of pregnancy.

my course is 2 years..and everyone thinks I'm insane for going back this semester..but what else am I going to do? Where I live it can take months to find a job so I may as well go and do something!

Have you had a look at temp work?? Something like admin or receptionist....? There's usually quite a lot going and it's temp so shouldnt really matter if you are preggers??

look into maternity allowance working conditions if you are planning on getting that, there are a certain amount of hours/£ you have to make to be able to get it - apart from that, there is no reason why you shouldn't get a job - i'm assuming you dont wan't a job lifiting/moving heavy things or working with chemicals, of course.

Im the same. Im starting my 2nd year of my degree at the end of spetmeber but all i can is take of easter then after that ive only work experience for 16 weeks (im not sure if they will let me do a few hrs a day or make me do the full day). Will find out soom enought
