Question for 2nd time C Section mums

What happens normally?

Do you end up with 2 scars above one another? Or do they cut out the old scar tissue and leave you with just one scar?

I've got a large lump of scar tissue from when they cocked up my last section, and I've been told that they'll cut this out for me if I have another, which I will be. But I'm intrigued about where the new cut will be.

from what I have heard they go in using the original scar so as not to weaken anymore tissue.

I've had 3 c-sections and only got 1 scar! My first was emergency and had a terrible bumpy scar but when I had my 2nd they cut it al away and now I have a nice neat little sca. It just turned white - it'll be all red again when they cut me open for a 4th time
