I would deffo do it Em, Im having an nhs one at 7 weeks but if I wasnt then Id deffo spend the money and have an early one.....as for a 4d scan, get saving and have one of them too later on, I know we are going too!
I agree with wobbs and polo princess on his one as i had a scan at 7+4 and was dissapointed cos i didnt see anything at all,and that's without even paying for it, up to you though if it makes you feel at ease go for it.
we had one too, about 8 weeks or so, and it was amazing (we also had gender scan 16weeks and 4d 28weeks and can i highly recommend them all) the early scan, for us, was definately worth it. wishing you a wonderful pregnancy
