| Mum (Mom) BnB Addict  Join Date: May 2008 Location: Alberta, Canada Posts: 4,229 | First time being pregnant - 1st Tri :) Alright... Well I guess this is the beginning of the rest of my life!!  Hubs and I found out we were pregnant on the 9th of August 2008. WOO! !!Hasn't exactly sunk in yet - we're kinda just...I don't even know. Can't say I'm overly excited, because really I didn't expect to get pregs this fast... this was only our 2nd month trying!! So far, I calculate I'm 4 weeks (Aug 11, 08!) I have NO idea where to go from here. We called our families... ALL except my freaking parents! I haven't been able to get a hold of them... I'm so choked and annoyed... I just really wish they'd call me back and be in freaking cell service while camping a bit more... UGH! lol I calculated my EDD as of April 17th 2009. Woot! Perfect. No one's birthdays are in April in my family, or Hubbers... Only our anniversary. Woot! I've been feeling great for the most part... I keep getting these pully/crampy type things in my loooooooooooow abdomen/uterus area - feels weird... I keep expecting to see  arrive... but I guess she's not coming!  *sigh* Hope this is the beginning to a good and informative time in the 1st Tri! |

These first few weeks have taken so long and now I just want a scan to put my mind at ease and tell me I am not hallucinating and everything is ok  Cramping I still get now and it feels like pulled tummy muscle sometimes. Know what you mean about feeling like AF is about to arrive but other than that I feel good so far and keep checking the sticks to make sure they really are positive!!!
