Blank

I'm blank to this pregnancy ...totally!

Tried so hard to conceive Miss Caitlin and with bleeding and lack of symptoms with her on top of history I thought she was ectopic but shes here now I spent the whole time panicing, worried, relief every scan, HB on doppler etc

Now ... again I'm just blank its not sinking in yet I'll try talk about it, post results, whats next, think & look at double prams, etc.

Been happy about my results and after result 2 I didn't think they would want a 3rd count so I was ok ...then they wanted a 3rd and I was nervous that day until results then I was fine again! I have a scan next Monday and with Caitlin every scan date/appointment dragged, was a nervous wreck, bursting too see all was ok, bursting for that day to arrive! Now ...I'm fine! little nervous now & then but general calm, blank to it all and not sinking in

Was anyone else calmer on baby #2+?

itll take time to sink in you have been through quite alot in the last few years with regards to baby making let alone anything else. maybe you doing what i did and no letting yourself to get into the whole pregnancy thing because of the pure fear that something else might go tits up..?

take care

I'm exactly the same. I've only known for two days that i am expecting, however i am carrying on as everything's the same. Don't get me wrong, i'm not drinking alcohol and taking my vits. But after a MC last time i guess it's my way of not getting too attached until i know that everything is ok.

Hey hun, it took us 2 years ttc ds so when this one came along in 3 months it's been a shock. We were in it for the long haul again. It still doesn't feel real yet and I have to keep reminding myself I am pg. I don't think it will sink in until I have a bump I can't avoid

It's def very different this time to my 1st pg.

i'm the same, it's still not really real to me and it wont be until my 12 week scan when i actually see the baby, it was the very same with lilly - it was almost like i completely detatched myself until i saw that scan incase anything went wrong in the hope that i wouldnt be too gutted, thankfully everything went wonderfully so hopefully this one will be the same

I was deffo like this with Naomi-Mae after having Morgan. Firstly in your I think you didnt have hope with Caitlin, everything had always gone wrong so it was almost like that was the expected, now you know you can get pregnant, have a sticky baby, and have a happy outcome. Secondly your busier now, you are running round after Caitlin and probably dont have the time to dwell on things as much.
