BFP with spotting?

Hi ladies. Sorry to crash the First Tri thread seeing as I'm not officially with you yet and may not be at this rate! I just wanted a little advice from some of you who have already had their BFPs.

I got my BFP on Saturday at 10 dpo - faint line on internet cheapie, positive FR and clearblue digital. Another positive FR yesterday and did an internet cheapie today which was very slightly darker than Saturday's.

AF should be due today or tomorrow (12 dpo now) and I'm starting to get AF like cramps and light brown cm which I have had the past couple of cycles before AF comes in full force.

I'm just wondering if any of you have had AF like cramps and spotting at the time AF was due and went on to still have a successful BFP?

I did about 5 days before mine was due, didn't even have an inclin i was pregnant, I remember having back ache and telling DH that period was on the way. I got cramps alot first few weeks also and was scared it was coming after i got my BFP. Congrats on your BFP

I didn't hun, but people do and soe get paeriod type cramps throughout their pregnancy!

Give it time, hard i know!

Thanks for the replies ladies. I haven't wanted to move over to first tri until AF was well and truly late because I've been worried about it being a chemical pg and I'm really hoping to be joining you properly soon! Very tempted to get another test at lunchtime but the lines will prob be lighter because its not FMU and won't make me feel any better....

I had brown cm around the time I was due on for a couple of days - not alot but enough to make me panic! I was convinced the

was on her way. I also had cramps too - almost like pulling pains.

Seems that it's quite common though - mine stopped pretty quickly.

As with anything though, if you're worried, pop to the docs to set your mind at rest.

I hear that a lot of people had spotting. I had bleeding and they found that i had a UTI. Its hard waiting but i suppose thats all we can do(im waiting 10 days on another scan and I dont think its good

Hey hun, I had this on both pg - the time I had a chemical pregnancy I had a normal period. I think this ones a sticky for you - congrats hun

Thanks ladies for the replies. My temp is still up and tested again this morning and the line is a bit darker again so I'm feeling alot more positive now! Hoping to get the courage to change my ticker and come and join you all some time this week - I'm a big coward!!
