My mil and fil and my mum know im preggers as it was too hard to hide the regular blood tests etc.

Now im due my scan on mondays at 2:30 and im hoping that we see a baby. (the last scan only showed an empty sac). My last pregnancy ended in a blighted ovum.

Now if i see a baby this time i may still be too early to see a heartbeat(i had a scan when i was 6wks 5 days and he was ther but no heartbeat)

Just looking for opions on what u lot would do? Would u then tell family u where preggers or wait to u see a heartbeat(dont know if i get another scan to see that or have to wait to 12 weeks).

What would u lot do?

U should b able to c the heartbeat now, I had to have a scan @ 8wks and saw the h/b

we are waiting til after the next scan, they will prob give you another one in a few weeks, good luck 2moro, all will b ok xxx

they dont think im as far on tho. They say this as the sac wasnt there in the 1st scan and my hcg where low when they 1st started but are more than doubling

Once you see a healthy hb then id say its safe to tell people, close family and friends knew i was pregnant before my scan @ 10 weeks though.

Just go with whatever you feel comfortable with!!

Hey PP... we've not yet had our early scan yet, but we've decided for the time being that we'll tell people after our 12 week scan. Our immediate family know.. but as we had a mc in April.. we're going to try and make the agonising wait to the 12 week barrier!!

I think it's entirely what you feel is best hun. If you want to tell some people early on, then go for it!

Hey PP,

Crikey, it's such an individual decision on whether to tell or not! Personally OH and I waited until 12 weeks to share with our parents.... just because they found my m/c hard to deal with too & we wanted to spare them if it was going to be bad news again! It was actually really nice having bub being 'our secret'.

Then told a few close friends, but wierdly I have not gone public at work, despite my obvious bump!! I think I'm just super protective of bub and still worried I'll 'jinx' things if everyone knows!

It's hard when you're very excited though and want to shout it from the rooftops!!!!!

Know its hard but my advice would be to wait...we saw heartbeat at 8 weeks and still we'e only told close family...have my 12 week scan on Monday 4th and cant wait to tell everyone if its all ok!
