A very sad share!

I just thought i would share this with you girls. My husband's cousin and his wife accounced they were pregnant in March of this year. In June they went for an ultrasound for gender and the general checkup and learned something was wrong with their baby. My husband's side of the family is huge, his grandpa has 30 grandkids and 70 great grandkids, so it got around that something bad was going on. Anyways we shortly learned their baby has the worse form of dwarfism. When i looked it up the name for it is Thanatophoric dysplasia and the name literally means death bearing.

Anyways my husband called me today fighting back tears telling me his wife went into labor last night and their beautiful son was born stillborn. If you read on it there have never been any babies to live with it. They are some of the loveist people you could ever meet, his wife is such a sweetheart. My husband talked to his cousins mom and she said her and the other grandma got to give the little love a bath and dress him. His grandma said that he was a perfect little baby expect for the fact that he had twelve figers and twelve toes. My heart is aching for them, i just can't even process the thought of going through such a loss. I don't know what to say to them, expect that we love them and they are in our thoughts and prayers. It makes you wonder why God does the things he does sometimes, though i know they were all for a reason.

I just thought i would share. They are having a funeral for him and with such a big family problems always araise such like one of the other cousins just had a baby wants to take his wife and new baby to the funeral. To me that is rude, very rude, and in this case i think it would be better for the family dealing with such a loss to not have to go through seeing a new baby, its not time yet. If we were to go my 1 1/2 year old would stay with her grandma, and it would only be my hubby if i was showing. Anyways needless to say they have decided that they will hold a small service for just them and the grandparents, which i compeletly agree as it takes away problems they shouldn't and don't need to deal with. Anyways sorry for the rant at the end it just ticked me off how selfish some people can be!

Thanks for your kind words, and i do believe i will be telling the other cousin how rude that is. Anyways they are such amazing people, i agree no mom nor dad deserve that. Though the grandma told my hubby she feels blessed to have meet the little bub. I just don't know what to say to them, expect we love you and we are so sorry for your loss.
