I'm Currently Feeling: | Really Sore Teeth & Gums - Is This Normal?? Hi everone,
I have had really sore teeth and gums since before finding out I was pregnant but it is getting worse every day. Is this something that can happen during pregnancy? | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | Your teeth and gums can weaken in pregnancy ...after so many weeks until your baby is 1 your entitled to free dental treatment - I believe from now tbh if you told em (the dentist).
I would go and check it out you may need a lil mouth wash is all!
My 'thing' whist pregnant was an electric toothbrush, strong toothpaste & brushing my tongue! I *loved* it ha! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Thank you for that - I have a dentist appointment next week so I'll get it checked out then - I didn't realise that you get free dental treatment whilst pregnant so cheers for that advice | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | Yer your doc should do a form for you sign it, then you fill it in send it off and you get a card through the post giving you exemption. You just show that. But if you haven't got it when you go just tell them its on its way. |

| Sore gums is a sign of gum disease, and the hormones in pregnancy tend to make the gums hypersensitive to plaque.
Sounds like you need a good scale and polish, possibly some corsodyl mouthwash and take extra special care on your oral hygeine during this period. |
