stomach cramps


Am in work and having mild period type cramps, should I be worried ?
all is ok xxx

I'm Currently Feeling: 


Hi hun, it's natural to have mild period type cramps - it's your uterus making room for the baby.... if it continues and you are worried I would nip to the doc's to put your mind at rest x

i keep having those, apparently normal, mine don't last long and arent painful, if they become painful tell your mw for advice

Try not to worry hun. It's likely that these are stretching pains, and most women get them at some point. I'm sure all is fine, but if the pain gets worse, or you have any bleeding, then I'd phone your midwife or doctor for advice.

yup, your uterus is making itself all big and comfy for the bubs to grow in but i agree , in any instance if you're worried see the docs

thanks chick, think I'm ok, it doesnt seem as bad and Im on constant toilet watch, hopfully it was nothing. I wasnt this worried with my first and he was fine xx

Hi hun,

I'm 6 weeks pregnant at the moment and I keep getting stomach cramps. Was really concerned but eveyone on here has assured me it's quite common so am starting to chill out a little now lol

I agree with the others though - just be vigilant and if at anytime you are really concerned then pop and see your doctor for peace of mind xx

Yup I'm having them too. Its so reassuring everyone else is having them!!! Phew! Just remember the Dr/Midwives are there for any concerns you might have so just ask them if you are at all worried
