I'm Currently Feeling: | How Long... How long was it before you actually believed you were pregnant? Sorry, I know this sounds a bit silly, but I've done three hpt's, all of which were faint s - they've been getting darker each day, but I'm still not convinced I'm actually pregnant
I think I'll feel different when I'm getting really strong lines, but I keep wondering 'are the tests faulty?' 'what if it's a super-quick evap line?' and even 'are the lines really there?'
I know it sounds skanky, but I've kept all the tests too, and I get them out and stare at them at least ten times a day. My OH is laughing his head off at me, and says I should just relax. We've just moved house and I need to register with a new doctor next week, but doesn't the doctor just go by your hpt result anyway? Crikey, isn't even due until Monday/Tuesday, so I know it's really early.... | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | When we got pregnant with our first child, it took awhile for it to sink in. And, like most people, kept doing tests until it was confirmed. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I took my first test on July 4th, which was a BPF of course. Didn't believe it and proceeded in taking 5 more over the course of a few more days......
The final one was very dark. But I still wasn't convinced and when to the doctor for a blood test. The woman there was somewhat shocked at how fast the results came back and how positive they were. So I'm pretty much convinced now!
Time to book my first scan in a few weeks!! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | When I got my it was really faint. I did the first test on the saturday when my AF wasn't due until the Tuesday, the second one was darker but not by much. I stopped doing them then because I'd had a chemical pregnancy before and was so scared I'd see a negative result. I only really believed I was pregnant when I had my first scan - I couldn't wait for the 12 weeks and paid for a private one at 8.
Good luck honey, you do get faint positives this early |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I really didn't believe it till I had my 1st scan, and saw my little jellybean, with a little flickering heatbeat on the scren. It is totally amazing, and that's when it really started to sink in for me.
But even now I still have moments when I think "wow! I'm actually going to be somebody's Mummy!"

I'm Currently Feeling: | Oh phew, you've all reassured me! But I'm still too scared to put a post in the BFP announcements section I think I was expecting (pardon the pun!) to feel pregnant if that makes sense... y'know, just differrent somehow? Did another one this morning, and they are definately getting darker, even if just by a smidge. Am off to Tesco's later to get a digital one, as I think it might help if I see it in black and white...
But tentitively, I feel... Woo hoo!!!!! | | | | Status: Offline
