First of all i would like to say hello to everyone here, just been reading threw the posts there is something for everyone which is really good
I am 12 weeks pregnant tomorrow, me & my boyfriend are so happy.
I had to have an early scan at 6 weeks (vaginal scan) because i had some really bad bleeding but everything is fine
I had my other one on wednesday that was exactly the same in dates.
I have to go by the ultrasound date as i couldn't find my book with all my periods & times id tried ect.
So both scans showed up as healthy, baby's heart was beating really well, i just can't believe its happening to me feels like a dream i have been trying for about 2 years.
I just have a few questions if a few people wouldn't mind giving me their advice it would be much appreciated.

1. Are the ultrasounds pretty accurate in dating?
My doctor said that will keep to the date of my 10 n half week scan, i mean im due 25th jan i hope that i dont go like xmas night or anything, is that likely?

2. When is it likely to start showing?
I have a tiny bump now but not much of one

Congrats and welcome. I am usually not very good with advice and I have not had my first scan yet, however it looks like we have the same due date if you are 12 weeks tomorrow...I am guessing January 25th.

As for the bump, I think everyone is different and starts to show at different times. My mother started showing after 5 months and I am already showing a little.

Yeah we're the same date, thats really cool.
How have you been feeling? I have my good days & bad days, pleased to say the morning sickness is easing off. I have 2 scan pictures, i can't post them on here tho as im not allowed until i have 10 posts, when is your first ultrasound? is it your first? Congrats! xx

I'm naturally a "big" lady so didn't start showing until I was about 19 weeks.. belly just popped out

Scan measurements for dating are very accurate in the first trimester (within about 3 days either side...probably a week at the most) so you're very unlikely to give birth at Christmas!

I think I started showing at about 12 weeks - not sure if I was still just bloated and being hopeful though! x

I have a chubby tummy too so it'll prob take me a while to show, i keep having a feel to see if i can feel anythin haha x

I didn't have my dating scan until 15 weeks (most accurate up to 12) so they gave me a due date of 23rd Feb - from my dates was 29th. He was born on 5th March though! But lots of people only know the date of their last period and don't know exactly when ovulation or fertilisation occured, so the dates they give you at the scan will be as accurate as anything else x

Awhhh thats cool, id hate to go over too. Im inpatient hhaa, your lil boy is so cute by the way you must be so proud. I want a girl my bf wants a boy ha xx
