Folic acid


I am 13 weeks Am i right to be stopping it now? heard different things

I think you need to keep take your prenatals I dont see why you would stop

They recommend folic acid is taken for the first 12 weeks at least. It won't hurt to take pre-natals throughout though and take it from me it's only a good thing to get things like this. I wish i had kept up my pregnancare throughout my last pregnancy, i might have avoided being slightly anaemic.

Wait so you can stop taking prenatals after 12 wks? I didnt no this lol I wouldnt not want to take thenm though I like to stay safe then sorry

I would go by what your doctor tells you. Different doctors recommend different things. I still take my prenatals (which have the folic acid in them).

I was told take them up until the 12 week mark, unless advised otherwise.
