Not a natural blonde...

Hey there.

I'm about to go get my hair highlighted and a couple of people have told me that it's not a good thing to get done while pregnant. Is this really true? Does anyone know what harm it can do?

Cheers from the fake blonde Incubator!

I've heard that its good to be careful with dying hair but it shouldn't affect the baby too much.

have got a wedding to go to and my roots are dreadful - obviously don't want to do anything to harm the small growing chump....are there any alternatives?

Really appreciate the help.

Thanks so much

I've read very different opinions on this subject and most say it's ok, the biggest danger being that it could go a funny colour........I have a blonde highlights and I have an appointment for half a head of highlights this saturday. However I also had a full head of highlights done when I would have been about 4 weeks pregnant (I didn't know) and that was fine! I have noticed the roots have come through much faster, faster hair growth! I will tell my colourist that I am pregnant though so she can keep an eye on the colour and it won't go orange!
