I'm Currently Feeling: | you can get it done but as your hair is more sensitive.....you can loose hair, go a funny colour, etc etc... and there is like a 3 percent risk of the fumes causing damage...i wouldnt personally get it done but u can . | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I must have a nose of steel (or no sense of smell!) as I never smell any fumes when I have my highlights done! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I heard it can make your hair brittle and make it start to snap.
Have you not thought of using a wash in wash out one, these are alot safer.
Oh if you do have your hair done and does go brittle, i found the best thing that worked for making mine normal again was my own natural oils from my own head, id let my hair get as greasy as i could bare it to be, wasent pleasent, but my hair got better.
You can buy this really nice repairing conditioner too, it smells gorgeous, now im rambling, lol. |

x | I was told not to dye my hair due to the chemicals being absorbed into my body, but also because of the hormonal changes, it may not take as well. My hair was dyed black and the front was red. I have not dyed it since I found out I was pregnant and it's growing out now. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | Iv had mine constantly highlighted throughout my pregnancy and my hairdresser and MW have both said there is no harm to the baby, unless i am sniffing the chemicals right up my nose!
The only thing i have heard is that peoples hair sometimes doesnt take very well to the colour while pregnant due to hormones. But i my hair is fine so far and so is LO |
