Ohh girls Im confuzzled now!

Since finding out I am preggers I have automatically just takem my dates from my LMP which was 27 May which would make me 6 wks 4 days today. My cycle before this one (april) was a chem pg cycle which was 34 days so not much by the way of a cycle length to go by either.
I was reading a thread on here last night (lost it now though) and clicked on a link which lets you calculate your pg from your conception date. I know I got 2 pos opks on 17/18 june (cd 22/23) and If I go off 17th it makes me 5 weeks 2 days today................................

Where should I take it from? I havt been for a scan or nothing yet so cant confirm either way, but need to know wether to put my ticker back or leave it where it is!

Ive been told the doc would just take it from my last LMP.
What do you girls think?

you are meant to go with your lmp dates until you have had the scan and that will confirm dates for you xx

yeah go from your LMP but because womens cycles are all different this is why they do a dating scan!! You will find out then!!!

I was just as confused because my periods were never regular and I was going on a 28 day cycle... I didnt know what is what!! But turns out I was right by my LMP!!!

I screwed up on my dates too, because i couldent remember when my lmp was, so i went off the date of conception as this was the only date i was sure of.
Stick with what you have now if thats what you have worked out and see what the dating scan brings.

Sounds like it is best to wait for that scan. It isnt long off for you now is it hun?

When you go for your dating scan the will tell you exactly what your dates are.
When we had our scan she said you .... 11+3 and i said Yippee there same dates as mine!!!
Bascially you go by you LMP

Im a bit peeved to be honest, I saw my doc last week and she said she would book me in for an early scan. Ive been in again today as I have a bit of a water infection. I saw another doc and he says no scan has been referred yet!

I had to ask the receptionist to get my doc to chase it up!

I'm gonna ring tomorrow to make sure she has, and ring everyday if I have to.

Im wondering about ringing the epau and asking them to scan me...what do you think?

I don't think the EPAU would scan you unless you were bleeding... you're not bleeding are you??? (I hope not) x

My midwife made my scan appointment when I saw her - you could go in to your drs and ask them to ring while you're there maybe, it makes sense as then you'll be able to say straight away if it's a bad time for you (mention childcare and things) xxx
