I'm Currently Feeling:  | Telling my parents tonight. in-laws tomorrow
Well, the big day is here (well, the first of many, at least). We're telling my parents I'm pregnant tonight!
Tomorrow morning we're going over to my in-laws to tell them too!
Then, on Friday, we're informing my sisters-in-law. Telling them was NOT my choice. I really wanted to wait until 3 months to tell them. We don't have a good relationship with them, and one of them (the much meaner one) has been desperately to get pregnant for 5+ years.
I'm horrified by the thought that she'll be jealous and wish ill on me. I feel that this pregnancy is still so precarious, that I need all the good wishes I can get....and no one giving me the "evil eye", as they say. But DH really wants his sisters to know, so I guess we're going to tell them.
This morning DH's mean sister (the one who can't get pregnant), send me a snippy email. Nothing too bad....just her usual passive-agressive, bitchy self. For a brief moment, I thought to myself "Boy, I'm really going to enjoy telling you". I feel evil for thinking that, but she's just so nasty to me!
My last encuonter with her was when I invited her to come to a full day spa with me and paid for EVERYTHING as a treat to her. And our next email exchange she's nasty to me??? WTF? |
