How many of you are going through your first pregnancies?
~this will be our first
Was it a surprise or were you planning on it?
~ well we definitely weren't being safe about it but weren't exactly planning either hehe
When are you having your first OBGYN appointment?
~ we are going for our first ultra-sound on july 21 and ill be 6 1/2 weeks along. My dct likes to have an ultra sound done BEFORE having an appt. So very excited about that
Are you showing yet?
~ Nope, only 4 1/2 weeks. My ticker is wrong hehe
What are your biggest fears?
~ Being a bad mom, having to go through labour (ouch pain!) and not being able to financially give our child the life it deserves.

first docs appointment on the 16th only a week to go

no but clothes are a little tighter because of bloatedness

What are your biggest fears?

that something will go wrong and i wont even know its happening

This is my second pregnancy after we mc 3 yrs ago. Am very positive about this one!
LO wasn't planned, but we are both very excited
Have my first mw appt this time next week!!! Cannot wait!
My stomach has exploded, not sure if its just bloating or baby?!
Worry about a lot - worried my bb aren't sore, worry when i sneeze too hard, worried everything is ok - just like every other mummy i think!

1. Yep this is my first pregnancy.
2. Was very much a surprise and a huge shock!
3. Had my first midwife appointment at 8 weeks and got my first scan tomorrow.
4. Yeah have started to show the last week or so but had a very flat stomach before.
5. That something bad will happen to my baby.

Hello great to 'meet' you!

How many of you are going through your first pregnancies? This is my first pregnancy and I'm having a rough time of it, but I am still enjoying myself when I can

Was it a surprise or were you planning on it? A it of both. We decided that we watned to start a family, but both sets of parents really struggled - it took them 4 years and 9 years to conceive their first children (us) so when it happened for us on our first go we were were stunned and shocked, but very excited and happy about it

When are you having your first OBGYN appointment? well mine is scheduled for 15wks, so we had a private scan at 10wks to check there was something there (and only1) so we could tell our families at 12wks.

Are you showing yet? a littel bit - its definately not bloating anymore, but not enough to show off or have to hide!!!

What are your biggest fears? being forced into a hospital birth, having people poke around my nether regions, relationship with hubbie changing.......


thing I am most excited about today? shopping for maternity wardrobe ( i refuse to wear anything unstylish while pregnant!) and baby things (waiting for that bit though).
