i feel a bit embarassed writing this..but recently I have had a lot of itchiness in the down below area...and its really uncomfortable...there was one time that i went to the toilet and it stung a bit..i thought i might have had a water infection as these are some of the signs..but he tested my water and said no i have not got a water infection..but he has sent my urine off to be tested...he said "it is your vagina getting used to the pregnancy" i have also had a lot of CM too..so im thinkin maybe this has caused it to itch too...has anybody else had this trouble?

and also if these are the symptoms that you get during pregnancy, then how the hell are we gonna know when we have a water infection? lol

Hmm, perhaps it's a light case of Thrush? - seems strange, but I'm sure you're not the only one to get it sweetie.

I think it sounds like thrush. Appparently it is really common in pregnancy.why not ask a pharmacist if its safe to use canesten when pregnant and try that.

hhmmm..i think i might just go for a second oppinion..cause this is the same doctor that i went to about eczmha on my legs...and he said that its cause i i had been shaving my legs..and then i went to another doctor and she told me that it was infected eczmha..so it tells ya everything really!!...thanks for replying!!

I got somthing like this befor and i wasnt pregnant at the time, I was SO ichy down there thats all i did was scratch all the time, It was so hard not to!! Then It burned to pee cause i was breaking skin scratching so much grhhhh....It went away though whatever it was

Its probably thrush, i had this, its because of all the extra discharge, go to your doc, ask him to take a swab to make sure and just buy some canesten cream to get along with until its been dignosed.
If it is thrush, its really easy to treat, so try not to worry about it.

You might have thrush, visit yur chemist and speak to them, they will prob give you something! i had thrush after some anibiotics during pregnancy at 6weeks, as i had a mild water infection, and thrush always follows after taking tablets. The consultant i saw at the EPU and the chemist said Thursh treaments are safe in pregnancy! Opt for Boots or Tesco's own they are the same as the big brand but far cheaper
