| Hi Danni,
As someone who annoyed everyone on this board with wails of "I think I'm miscarrying!!!! I've lost all my symptoms!!", I feel it is my duty to step up and be the voice of reason and the 'example' now.
I had nausea, sore breasts, fatigue and some 'twinges' in my uterus for a while. One morning, I woke and and felt nothing. Absolutely nothing. Everything had stopped overnight. I was frantic. I lay there and tried my hardest to feel something....anything...but there was nothing. I felt 100% like I was not pregnant. I felt exactly the same as before I got pregnant.
I immediately went to a doctor and demanded a couple of blood tests to see if I was having a miscarriage. My symptoms were gone for several days. I was sure I was carrying a dead baby and was grossed out by the idea. Well, my results finally came back....the same day as my symptoms! I was definitely still pregnant. My hcg levels were rising rapidly.
I don't want to say 100% that a loss of symptoms means absolutely nothing for everyone. For SOME people (very few), it does mean that there is a problem. BUT....most likely, you're just like me and you're fine. Give it between 4-6 days and see if your symptoms return. If you're really worried, go for a test.
I should note one very important thing, though....It is VERY normal and VERY typical for symptoms to disappear around week 10 of pregnancy. Weeks 10-12 are just about the end of the first trimester and that's usually the time when people's symptoms disappear. Having your symptoms disappear at 10 weeks puts you in the "very normal" range.
Best of luck! |
