I'm Currently Feeling: | 12 weeks pregnant and getting married in 3 Hi all,
I was just wondering if you could helpo me find out what sort of weightloss plan is safe while I am pregnant. I am not trying to be selfish or anything, but I am getting married in less than 3 weeks and am 12 weeks pregnant and pretty well hating what I look like in pictures. My wedding is suppose to be the happiest day of my life and I am afraid if I do not do something now I will be disgruntled and unhappy with the outcome of how I look on my big day.
My first trimester has been quite exhausting so I have not been doing much excersize, but i feel like i need to do something.
Can I take up jogging in the evening just for 20-30 minutes? I use to jog before I got pregnant.
What sort of excersizes should I do for my arms?
Anything I should stay clear of?
Is doing a diet like Weight Watchers unsafe?
THank you for your help. I look forward to your responses.

I'm Currently Feeling: | No form of dieting is safe while you are pregnant. Your best bet is to try and eat healthy and exercise moderately. But saying that I wouldn't start any new exercise program without checking with your doctor first! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I was under the impression that any kind of diet in pregnancy is a no go.
As long as you eat healthy and do gentle excercises thats ok.....But diet??? I dont think this is classes safe....I might be wrong.
maybe someone else on here can help more? XXX |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I wouldn't go for anything too strenuous. Try swimming as that'll tone you up as well as keep you trim and it won't put stress on your body or the baby. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | What would you consider healthy eating? My problem is that I cannot eat the healthy things i used to because i am turned off of them. Quote:

I wouldn't worry about that right now, just eat whatever your body will allow you to. I was off food due to sickness for 2 whole weeks so I was getting NOTHING, then it calmed down and now I can stomach potatoes, cheese, and chocolate milk. So as long as it stays in, your body will take what it needs! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hey hun, firstly don't panic! Having gotten married myself 2 weeks ago & being plus sized anyway i was really worried by the fact that i couldn't diet directly before the wedding and was worrying about photos/how i would look - but you'll be fine. The day will go so fast & if you're anything like me you'll be soooo worried about not messing up your vows that everything else will fade to the background.
Dieting as such is a no go when pregnant - but you can still follow a healty diet, lots of protein, fruit and veg and make sure you're drinking enough water. As for exercise try swimming or doing aqua aerobics class - anthing low impact. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I am 12 weeks. I can stomach toast in the morning and crakers witrh cream cheese in the afternoon. Veggies are seldom something I want and so are fruits. I have turned into quite the carb-aholic which is one of my problems. Quote:

I'm Currently Feeling: | Healthy eating as in lots of fruit and veg...protien, calcuim and iron.
All of these would be classed as eating healthy. And are very very good for baba
Try to limit the amount of shite you eat Which at 12 weeks is easier than 29
But gaining weight in pregnancy is just something that comes in the package. And no amount of eating healthy can stop this im afraid....but it can slow down the excess weight that you gain.
just remember theres a reconmenned amount of weight to be gained in pregnancy and stopping yourself from gaining this could cause more problems than gaining to much
Just be sensible about it....It your hungry EAT. Your body is telling you your hungry for a reason.
Gotta say in the months to come....eating healthy is harder and harder and you care less. If im hungry im going to eat.....and if that means 2 portions of chips then so be it .....lol
But i wouldnt recommend dieting at all.....its just not healthy hun....for you or the baby. Your body is nurishing another life and needs food to help XXXX |
