I'm Currently Feeling: | Low blood sugar? Well Latley When I have been laying down and i need to get somthing I get up really fast and do what I need to do But then I get really dizzy I wasnt worrying about cause I read in my "i am pregnant" book that its just the blood rushing down to my feet really fast or somthing like that. Well Yesturday I ate at 3pm not a big meal just a peice of boiled chicken it didnt feel me up but I didnt want to eat anymore. After that I ate some sherbert ice cream, Well at around 10pm we went out to fill the car with gas and to get mcdonalds I was sooo hungry, Well Everything was fine untill we almost got home I started Getting really hot, I was sweating and it was really nice and cool outside, I was starting to get light headed, a little shacky and not feeling good at all. Well When we got home I was afarid to stand up outside thinking i was going to faint or somthing anyways I managed to get upstairs and inside. I remember reading a part of my book about being dizzy while sitting down and it could have been cause by low blood sugar. My Huuby gave me a soda and told me to drink it...Im not sure why lol but it kinda helped and then eating helped to, He said its cause I havnt been eating much and just drinking a ton of water everyday. I have been avoiding sweets. What exacly is low blood sugar? This happen to anyone eles? I feel morning sicky today but thats about it. Im not to worried about it I thought id see if anyone eles had this happen. I will for sure bring it up when I have my appointment. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Drink some orange juice, because this has quite alot of sugar in it and is good for you and LO anyway because of the vitamins that are in it, but definatley tell your midwife.
Tell your m/w as she will probably need to keep an eye on your blood sugar levels. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Agree with enigma. I never had that happen to me, had the odd dizzy spell but nothing like what you are describing. Always best to get these things checked out in my opinion |

I'm Currently Feeling: | im type 1 (insulin dependent diabetic) and i was informed that in the early stages of pregnancy, usually up to the 8th to 12th week, my insulin requirements will go down slightly but then rise again. if your body is trying to cope with insulin sensitivity in the begining, that might be why you are going dizzy....i hope this helps! |
