Blood test levels?

Hi again

I rang in for my results from my blood work today.
The lady rattled off a few, and I can't remember exact numbers.
But she was pretty abrupt, and didn't give me an opportunity
to ask any questions.

I assume everything was ok - otherwise I would have been called
for an appointment to see the GP.

She gave me a number that was 1 thousand 7 hundred and something.
Is that the HCG level? or is that something else? - and is that an ok
level?

I'm going to ring my own doc tomorrow - just thought you girls might be able to shed some light for me.

when I first got my blood work, they said it was a hundred something and that the number would more than double in a few days. It went up but not in the thousands. Update us on what the doc says

Hi NeyNey
Given how far along you are, that definitely sounds like the HCG numbers. I'm not a doctor, but I think that sounds like a healthy number!

Sorry NeyNey but I'm not sure. I do think you are right though, the doctors would have called you if there were any problems.

Sounds like a HCG number to me too - esp at about 5+ weeks. Give them a bell and see if they can run you through them again.

Well all is well, all my levels are great she told me. sooooo
She wants to take more blood in a few days, she said I'm in a high risk
category so she wants to make sure everything is going ok on a regular
basis.

I started to bawl like a child on the phone when she told me.
She said she wants to get me in for a scan in the next two weeks
I can't wait!!!!
