Took me 9 cycles. I had been on BCP for 7 years before that, but I came off the pill 3 months before we started TTC. So...9 cycles.
I was just like you...my mother, grandmother and aunt always told me to be careful because they all got pregnant first time they tried....for all of their kids. You can just imagine how hysterical I became after 9 months with no BFP.

We wernt tcc, we was using condoms, but they arnt very reliable when your drunk and forget to put one on.
Once without protection is all it took.

I came off the pill nearly 2 years before ttc, we used condoms after that. We started ttc in January, and got BFP 3.5 weeks later. Unfortunately we had a mc in March and then started ttc after first AF, we got BFP on second cycle (2 AF's since mc)!

We used OPK's both times and second time we used pre-seed - which is a wonderful thing!
