New and Disheartened

Hiya everyone! Im new to this site so hello everyone!!! I had my first midwives appointment yesterday and i feel a bit disheartened.Im not too sure about my dates but i have put a stone in weight on since i found out i am pregnant a month ago, well the midwife asked me to get on the bed so she could feel my stomach and she said she couldnt feel my uterus......she said its nothing to worry about as im quite chubby as it is (size 1 and it maybe that my dates are out and im not as far as i think (i think im about 10wk) she wasnt worried about it in the slightest but now im so worried.Im already massivly paranoid about stuff going wrong and im dreading my scan more than anything, now her comments have made me even worse....i wanna go and do another test but i cant get out today the weather is awful and ive got no money on me anyone else had this experience? thanx in advance and sorry for such a rambling post

Hello there . Try not to panic. The top of the uterus is palpable above the pubic bone around week 12, so no surprise that the midwife could not feel it.

Hi. Try not to worry I am exactly like you worrying all the time that things aren't right and stuff. I wouldn't worry what the midwife said too much

Hey there,
o not worry, I can understand your worries, I started a new thread earlier with my paranoia clearly obvious to all. Try not to worry, and perhaps I should take some of my own advice,
I am sure the uterus will be felt at your next appointment hun,
xxx
