I'm Currently Feeling: | It happens alot I have read, I have never had it but SO many girls on here have, both of my sisters have too, at 7 weeks also! I dont know what it is, but i dont think you should worry, easy for me to say i guess but honestly you watch all the people come in here now and tell you they bled and bubs is ok.
If you are worried, call midwife and ask for a bit of advice. Mine would be lie down and have a rest and watch jeremy kyle.

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hi niknatkat,
If I were you I would contact your midwife/Gyni and tell them about the brown. I don't mean to alarm you but brown blood can be a sign of either the embryo further embedding itself in the uterine lining or else it can be a sign of an impending miscarriage. I had a missed miscarriage in January at 10 weeks which started off with brown spotting, only a small bit when I wiped but it was the start of it. I had no pain at all. So my advise to you is to get it checked out. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I had the same experience as snowflake - so i'm a big believer in getting these things checked out even if the liklihood is everything will be just fine!!! Hey, it'll be good to see an early scan pic of your LO anyway, which will be a lovely early suprise and will give you that reassurance.
The odds are in your favour that all is absolutely fine, as Melbo said, I have read LOTS of threads from girls who have experienced the same symptoms and have been just fine!

I'm Currently Feeling: | I have had 2 episodes of brown blood and one of quite heavy red blood - both were checked out and both were fine. But the doctor at the hosptial told me to always get checked out. It's probably nothing at all but like someone else said at least you will get a scan of your little bean! Definately worth ringing EPU if only for peace of mind. |
