Well sounds like they were plain mean.....And i would say something hurts or what not at 13 weeks and make them do one more....past first tri is always a safer feeling no matter what : ) And next time say "could i please have a picture?" and if they say no KICK 'EM. seriously u do deserve a pic and to see the baby swimming and such things!

Hehe, yes I will kick them if they do not do my bidding!! I think it was because they were so busy and had seen so many people, plus I was only 7+4 at the last scan... Plus I was hysterical and very uncomfortable with it being an internal scan and having to sit on my hands...!!
I asked for a picture last time and she said "you can get one at your 12 week scan", which is why I was so shocked when I saw the midwife today as I just wasn't expecting it. Poor woman, she felt awful I think! I was nearly in tears

Wooo!! Thanks to my wonderful wonderful boyfriend, the doctor is going to refer me for a 12 week scan as I am very anxious. He called the EPAU number we had been given at the last scan and they gave him the number for the antenatal clinic. He explained the situation and how nervous and worried I am, and they said if I can get a referal due to being anxious, they will arrange a scan.
And he's going to send a referal next Thursday when he speaks to the midwife!!! I feel so much better.
Brown discharge has come back again this morning a little heavier, so I know I'm not out of the woods yet but I have all my fingers and toes crossed very tightly hoping things will be ok!

contact the hospital PALS and complain. Point out that the NICE guidelines state that all women should have a nuchal scan.
