When can the baby start hearing me or noises around me? Im only 8wks can it hear anything? lol

i have always been told they can start picking up outside noises at around 17 weeks. this isn't the same as distinguishing noises though- like they can't tell teh difference between mum's voice and auntie's voice yet. I forget which week that starts, but it's a bit later.

I have been told that babies can pick up more sounds by 28 weeks!! but i think you should start talking to ur bump now so your used to doing it when he/she can hear you

Yea Ive been kinda talking to "it" haha I feel weird LOL im not used to talking to my tummy

I still feel abit daft doing it lol and ive got a huge bump with knees poking out of me lol but it is said that baby will get used to ur voice and will be calmed by it outside the womb.

Hes started kicking to some music one song that isnt suitable for a baby lol

I was told i have an advanced baby at my 12 week scan because he was sucking his fingers and that doesnt normaly happen till 16 weeks!! YAY so he definatly doesnt take after his dad on that part! I bet you cant wait till your 12 week scan mine was so clear and i got great pics of him

Oh really wow!! Oh i cant wait I wish it would hurry up and come lol I have my first appointment on july 31st then I will get a scan in august. I think I will be in my second trimester then??

I had my first scan at 6 weeks due to bleeding and all i could see was this lump that was flickering which was the heart beat was so weird..

Second trimester starts at 13 weeks The time will start to fly by soon lol
