Red face

Hi I'm new and scared!!!

Hi I just got my after 14 months of trying. I already have 2 boys aged 2 and 3 but I had a miscarriage last year and I'm more terrified than excited this time round. My family keep telling me to shut up and stop being negative but I feel that I am just preparing myself, although I don't think I had any symptoms the last time, but this time I do. I feel terrible and I'm loving it because it makes me feel that everything is going how it should. Is anyone else in the same situation? i.e first pregnancy since M/C?

I'm not in your sitiuation but wanted to say Welcome to BnB.

I'm sure your feelings are a defence mechanism as you know how painful m/c is.

Lots of luck and sticky for a happy and healthy 9 months.

Well I was at the doctors today and she really put my mind at rest. She said with 2 healthy kids she is almost certain that everything is going to be fine. She said that what happened last year was a fluke of nature. She said in her experience what probably happened was that the sperm didn't fertilise the egg properly so it wasn't actually a baby my body just thought it was pregnant which was why there was only a sac visible on the scan. I feel really reassured now especially as my symptoms seem to be getting worse and last time they went away. so fingers crossed!!!!

i'm pregnant after m/c, and i was so convinced it would or could happen again i begged my doc to book me in for a scan, which bless him he did it took two yrs to get preg on clomid was convinced it werent going to happen, i even went in the scan room alone cos i was a mess the last time, but i saw the little bean and uits heart fluttering away.. so i've realaxed a bit now.
