| I forgot to mention a wonderful book, my mother had it when she was pregnant with me, and tomorrow I'm hoping to buy the 40th anniversary new edition (it's sold out all over this city, but tomorrow I'm going on a road trip and hitting all the bookstores along the way!) It's called 'A Child is Born', and it's an incredible photographic record of every stage of pregnancy. Everything from a splitting egg, through each week, right to birth, all in real photos (I guess they put really tiny cameras into some pretty brave womens' wombs!). It's not the same type of book as 'What to Expect' and others in the same vein, but it is a beautiful book. |
