I'm Currently Feeling: | Am I still pregnant????? Please help!! OK so the deal is was at work on Friday night and started spotting.. it started off light pink, 1 episode of proper blood and then light pink again, ;ast bleeding I had was Sat morning after a BM and it was light brown.
I am having lots of cramps and have started off this way, I called my midwife on fri night from work who obviously told me to go home and spend the weekend in bed as it sounded like i was having a threatened miscarriage she was concerned about the bleeding and pain together.
The blood was only on tissue after wiping, last blood sat morning still having lots of cramps and lots of gas pains..
I have been waiting to get into an early pregnancy clinic for an US scan and I am being driven insane. I spent all weekend crying and preparing myself for the worst then today I spent from 5.30 am - 12.30 thinking I was about to throw up. I still have a higher than normal body temp, sore boobs and massive nausea. I am driving myself crazy one second i think no i cant be preggo and the next i think of the stmptoms i still have and think i must be. I need to get this scan will call again tomorrow.

I'm Currently Feeling: | If it's stopped, that's a good sign. IME a miscarriage is unmistakable, once it's underway - LOTS and lots of blood, heavy cramps, and it lasts for quite a while. What you're experiencing could very well be 'normal' (is there any such thing in pregnancy?); quite a few women bleed a bit and it turns out to be blood from the cervix, while everything inside the uterus is still peachy. I know it's silly to say because it's nearly impossible, but do try to think positive and relax as much as you can.
Really the only thing to do is rest and try to take it as easy as possible until the scan, and if you start to bleed again I'd go to the ER straight away or at least call your midwife for advice. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | hun this is going to sound horrible but when you m/c (or when it happened to me) i couldn't stand up, the pain is so hard to explain, the amount of blood coming out of me was unreal. your up and down to the toilet every two minutes.
If the bleeding has stopped then try not to worry (easier said than done sometimes) and if your still very panicky can you not go straight to A&E?!
I will keep all my fingers and toes crossed that your little one is sticking.
good luck

I'm Currently Feeling: | Best to check if everything is okay, with your midwife or doctor. When I miscarried I couldnt move for the life of me, kept being sick & was bleeding so heavily, I was soaking through every 30-60 mins. Scariest thing in my life.
Some spotting is regular in pregnancy, still check with a health professional. It will put your mind at rest. Good luck hun. |
