I'm Currently Feeling: | So no miscarrage yet..rising hcg whats going on? some of you left your kind messages last week, thanks can any of you ladies make sense of this...
First scan 11 days ago... sac measure 11mm=5w2, yolk sac but no fetal pole
6 days later, friday... after sex i woke up to brown blood on my sheets, no loads. Went to hospital for a blood test 60945 hcg.
Later that day i went to a private clinic for scan as nhs couldnt, sonographer measured sac 22mm=7weeks, yolk sac but still no fetal pole. She said there were some echoes in the sac so she thought id miscarry but would have to go back to nhs for scan to confirm it?? I was devastated at the news...the receptionist was consoling me (i question poor practise?)
Sunday i went back to nhs for second blood test..expecting them to be going down... they were 74000 so they risen.
Now i have to wait until Friday to find out what the hells going on?
Iv stayed off this week to try and chill but im in limbo. I gave my family the bad news now im praying for it to be oK.
I think im about 7+ weeks now. I was on the pill before i fell pregnant. I havent had any pain other than normal little belly ache. Im still tired and my boobs are really sore.
Can someone please shed some light, im due to go back friday, im preparing for bad news? | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | What did they say about the rise?? I know they should roughly double every 2/3 days so they are going upbut relatively slowly. My sisters numbers didnt double so its possible to still go on to have a healthy pregnancy.
I'm not suprised you're confused hun. When are they going to scan you again?? At 5 weeks I had no HB or pole just a yolk and sac. At 7+2 HB and fetys were there.

I'm Currently Feeling: | thanks... the doc at hospital said at 7weeks, the numbers wouldnt double, any rise is good or even if they stayed the same or rose a little, i think they should double every 96hours, mine went up 15000 in 48hours.
i dont know whether to ask for another blood test on thursday before the scan or wotx | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I would just rest and not worry too much until your scan on Friday. It is a good sign that your HCG levels continue to rise. Good luck!! |

i dont know whether to ask for another blood test on thursday before the scan or wotx | asking for a blood test can't do any harm? Tho they might say that u don't need 1 if you're going for the scan. |
