i had mine done and wasn't told the results until i went to my 21 week baby scan. the midwife told me they would only contact me if there were any problems. I had them done at 16 weeks so i waited for awhile! i had hiv, hep b, syphillis, full blood count and triple test done all at the same time. some of the girls get their results by letter and others just get told at antenatal appts.

give them a buzz - they may be back now. my midwife told me they take 7 days to be returned to her.

They told me it takes 3 days for all lab reports to come back. If there was a problem with either of these tests, they would be required to contact you right away due to the risks of transferring it to your LO. If you havent heard back yet, I would assume all is well.

Thanks everyone. I called the docs and they say they are still not back yet which I find strange as nearly a week now. Anyway like you say I am sure they will contact me if there is something up. They did the urine, my MW called on Sunday to tell me to get another specimen in to them so, I guess if bloods showed anything I would know by now, that's if the tests have actually been done yet.

These tests normally take about 7-10 days. The triple tests for Downs Syndrome and Spina Bifida normally take about 14 days. If you want the results, you might have to phone for them as they often don't phone you unless there is a problem.

I am sure your results are fine.
