I had it for like a day then not for a while then again for a day then not for a while. It comes and goes. I dont think its anything to worry about. Drink alot of fluid's to flush it out of your system, or try and find out from a doctor or pharma if there is anything you can take while pregnant to help. From memory of working on the healthcare counter in Boots. There is no information available about the safety of Imodium in pregnancy. But it is not recommended for pregnant women. Consult a pharma for more information about this.

But definately drink alot of water, same as what you can do for a baby, flush it out of their system with plenty of fluids and fibre.

I had really painful trapped wind even before BFP! I thought it would be constipation, but no, had runny poo!!
Eating healthy and drinking lots of water seems to have sorted me out. Oh, and peppermint tea!!

I had gastroenteritis at around 4 weeks, it lasted 15 days and I lost more than ten pounds. I had hoped that would be the end of the diarrhea, but I'm still getting periodic episodes. From what I've read it's not unusual, some women get constipated, some have no trouble, and some have diarrhea -- it's all part of our bodies getting used to the hormones.

For me, and I'm sure I'm not the only one, there's probably an additional reason. Since getting my BFP I've improved my diet -- more fiber, more raw fruits and vegetables, more water and juice... and all of these can contribute to gastric issues.
