my last period started on the 12 may. this is our first month ttc. i decided to do an early test, which came up as negative. A week early for my period I started to have brown spotting on the evening, followed with bleeding. This was not as heavy or dark as my normal period and only lasted 2 days (3 inc brown spotting.) I looked on the internet and read about implantation bleeding, and decided to do another test, this time it came up positive but a light line, not as bold as the line that is supposed to be there. this positive result was followed with 3 other light positives results over the week. I made an appointment with the doctor who has done a blood test. the doctor was really rubbish, as was training, and didnt really know what I was talking about and had to phone someone for help. Starting the call with... I have a young girl here with me, the fact I was with my husband didnt seem to help. but made me feel really stupid, then she said, i dont know why you want to know so early!!! anyway....blood results back mid week. After the docs apointment I bought another pack of tests (different brand from before) both had negative results. Do you think this was an early miscarrage or am I pregnant ? Its driving me mad ! Why bleeding and why 2 negative tests?

Hey hun - check out my ttc journal for around 6 weeks ago - I went through exact same thing. Didn't actually get it explained to me what happened, but it turned out I wasn't pg at the time. Hope u can get some answers

What kind of a doctor did you get stuck with, huh?!

Reckon that if you had an early miscarriage the flow would have been equal to or more than a normal period. But I'm no expert!

Test again in a couple of days...and get a second opinion from a better doctor!

Very confusing ... i think you should test again in a couple of days and wee what it says then go from there

hey hun, a similar thing happened to me..i wasn't trying to get pregnant..but i had all the pregnancy signs a week before my period, exhaustion, really sore boobs etc...so i decided to do a digital clear blue pregnancy test.. it came up pregnant..i was really shocked cause i was on the pill...so that night i stopped taking my pill and the day after i took another pregnany test and it said "not pregnant" i took several as i could not understand why it said this...i had 1 period...before i actually got pregnant..me and OH were upset and really wanted a baby, so tried..and here i am...people tell me that i look bigger than what i actually am..so whether it was the pregnany from before or not i don't know...but im thinking that if i was pregnant before that the pill might have made it come away. hope you get some answers!!
