hi all, some of your may have read about my ordeal yesterday, i woke up after intercourse with some brown blood on my sheets. I went to the hopital and they did a blood test my hormones were 60500...

i decided to go for a private scan as the nhs were fully booked. the woman i saw said i was almost 8 weeks and that it didnt look like a viable preg..some echoes and no fetal pole, she said she wasnt sure so wait til my next scan on friday with nhs.

a week ago i had a scan at the hospital they said i measured 5weeks 2 days roughly as the gest sac was 11mm this week its 22mm, so by yesterday going with what the hospital said id be 6weeks and 2 days... so that would roughly match the hcg levels.

I dont understand how the nhs can say i would be 6 weeks 2 days yesterday and the private scan would show up almost 8 weeks.

I dont know what to think, i let my family know the bad news so everyone is very sad. i have a blood test at the hospital tomorrow and if my hcg levels drop then that would confirm it. Would i 100% see something if id just turnt 6 weeks? could they be wrong. I feel ok in myself...no blood or pain... i wander if i still would have bleed if i hadnt had naughtys thursday night.

I just dont feel 100% about whats going on.

I had nothing at 6 weeks, they told me I had to only be 4 weeks. My little one didn't measure dates untill 12 weeks. Before that she was always 2 weeks behind.

when did you see everything ? nsh measured me 5wks 2 days last fri with both sacs there, yesterday private plcae measured me 8 weeks with only sacs there and possible bleed.

wished id never been sent for a scan...

I would wait to see what happens at your blood test, and hopefully next scan. Babies develop at different rates.

it might be that when you go back for the scan they see everything they need to, i had a scan around 5-6 weeks and they couldnt conf anything to me they told me to come back in 11days when i went back everything was fine, so keep hoping

I was 8 weeks when I first saw the fetal pole and I was only measuring 7+2

I went for an early scan due to bleeding. I thought i was 8 weeks, scan put me back 2 weeks to 6 weeks. I had another scan at 8 weeks and was moved forward to 9 1/2 weeks. I had an external scan and we saw blob with a heartbeat. Which does make me wonder if i was further along at the very first scan. I hope you get good news xx
