Really sorry if i am repeating myself here...gettin like my granny!

When i was sent to the EPU I should have been 8 weeks but they measured me as 6w2. Was so sure about my dates that i had a scan at what i called my 12 week mark and turns out that my dates were right.

Sometimes the baby is curled up tight and they can't accurately measure the CRM.

On my 12w scan baby varied between 11 and 12 weeks depending on the way it was lying.

As for HCG levels I'm really not that sure, sorry.

Just hold tight til your next scan hun, easier said that done I know...

I think you probably just have to wait and see what the HCG comes back like. YOur numbers are incredibly high so thats a great start right?

Now comes the hard part. Try not to analyse too much - we're not the 'experts'. Try to be positive - my sister had a number of bleeds in her first tri until 12 weeks and her HCG levels were very low AND they didnt double as they should. She went on to have a healthy baby.

Thank you for all your kind thoughtful comments. Im holding out some hope but not alot, Tracies news todays has made me think alot and i feel very sad.

Im just hoping that theres something thats wrong like the dates or the fact i have an tilted uterus. I dont know i feel empy but i think thats because i feel so unwell and drained.
me and my fella have had a sofa day today, watching the box and iv been trailing the net whilst he does dins xx

Hey hun, just sending you hugs. I started to bleed on Tuesday and was told EPAU wouldn't see me till Friday but when I phoned Friday they said they won't scan me till next Thursday.

My blood is bright red but has slowed so I'm clinging to a tiny bit of hope. I asked for HCG to be done as well. Had my first yesterday and following up on Monday. It's really hard hun, but if our babies are gone, we will have plenty of time to cry and grieve, if the babies are hanging on in there we aren't doing any good by getting upset.

I'm just taking things hour by hour at the moment, I think you need to do the same. I hope it works out well for both of us xxxx

I have had this twice, one with a good outcome and one bad.

The 1st time i had a small spot of blood at 6 weeks and git a scan done and just a sac. I think they say at 6 and a half weeks u should see more than a sac. I went back a week later and there was a fetal pole.

This time i went for a scan at 10 weeks (no reason at at). I just kept on at my doc that i wanted a scan and she got me one due to me having a heart problem. There was only a sac which measured over 20mm (i think 22 tho i cant remeber now). I was offered a d & C but wanted to leave it a few weeks to be sure and got my d & C at nearly 13 weeks when the sac started to collopse. So basically i had a blighted ovum and i just couldnt believe it as i was having morning sickness still up to the D & C

What im saying is dont panic yet as its still early days and you mite have ovulated later than thought.
Also double check that u dont have a tilted uterus as that can obsure the view if bad enought. I think i read 20 % of woman have this but dont know.

have a scan tomorrow.... which is a followup of last weeks. I was 8 wks acc to LMP but scan measured 5 wks. I have a tilted uterus too.....
so everything is fine!

i went for my second blood test today, had a nightmare the sister on the ward had no idea, 2 nurses tried to take blood and failed so the doctor had to do it.
he said my hcg levels were really good but need to wait to find out if todays ones have gone down. Theres a small small chance, i hav a tilted uterus too. im just hoping theres a mistake somewhere. the gest sac and yolk sac were there a week ago.
i will know by tonight, if the hcg levels stay the same or go up slightly ill have to wait till scan on friday, if they go down then i have to accept its gone.

also good news is, i still havent felt any pain... no more blood since thursday night, and thursdays nights bleed after sex was like a brown smear on sheets gross. so nothin bight red.
i do feel very fragile, not up for dancing about, just laying on the sofa, feel like my insides might all fall out if i move about too much
